Bartender/Barista

$16 to $20.25 per hour, plus tips | 3+ days a week, 8am to 3pm. No late nights.
Locals Only is a breakfast and lunch restaurant on Alexander Street in Rochester, open daily 8am to 3pm with full coffee and cocktail service. Our mission: we provide world-class delighted guest experiences for our guests through food, beverage, art, and meaningful human connection.
Run our bar and coffee program during service. You pull shots, build cocktails, and take care of guests at the counter and the bar.
What you will do
- Make espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and cocktails to our recipes and standards
- Greet guests within 10 seconds and keep the bar and coffee counter moving during the rush
- Set up, restock, and close the bar and coffee stations
- Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly
- Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for the next shift
- Bring ideas to our quarterly seasonal drink menu
What we are looking for
- Experience behind both a bar and an espresso bar is required
- At least 2 years of experience in the role
- Availability at least 3 days per week, 8am to 3pm
- Weekend availability
- Reliable, positive, and steady under a busy rush
Pay and perks
- $16 to $20.25 per hour, plus tips
- No late nights. Every shift ends by mid-afternoon
